The National SME Development Council (NSDC)
The Council provides strategic policy direction and framework in SME development across Ministries and relevant Agencies.
There are 17 Ministries and more than 75 Agencies supporting the Government's SME development efforts. Each of these organisations has been tasked with specific development objectives aimed at particular target groups.
Business Advisory Services (BAS) on business matters by qualified and knowledgeable Business Counselors, Business Coaches as well as industry experts under the SME Expert Advisory Panel (SEAP).
ORC Link - Advisory Services by representative from relevant Ministries, Agencies, Banks, Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) and Associations on a pre-set schedule at the ORC.

Resource Centre - SMEs can also utilize the Resource Centre for information on latest and various books, articles, magazines, reports and news on SMEs.
Pocket Talks are also being organized monthly to smaller interested groups covering topics such as starting a business, marketing and sales, available technologies, etc. One to one session with the speakers can be arranged after the talks.
SME Product Gallery - SMEs can also visit and kept abreast the various products by SMEs as well as to inquire and register interest to display their own products at the gallery.
The Government provides an enabling environment for the growth and development of globally competitive and resilient SMEs. Initiatives and programmes by the Government are directed towards addressing constraints and enhancing capabilities of SMEs in areas such as financial accessibility, advisory services, marketing, technology and ICT.
Incentives in the form of grants and soft loans are provided by the various Ministries and their agencies. Apart from the Government, funds are also channelled through commercial financial institutions.
